Common questions
I watched a rewarded ad and did not get the reward.A reward only pays out when the ad reports that it finished. If the ad
was closed early, or the connection dropped part-way, Google does not
report a completion and the game has nothing to pay out from. Try again
on a stable connection. If it keeps happening, write to us with your
device model and Android version.
My progress is gone.Progress is stored only on your device, inside the app's private
storage. It is deleted if you uninstall the app, clear its data, or use
Settings → Reset progress. There is no account and no cloud
backup, so we cannot restore it — and neither can we see it. This is
the trade for a game that needs no sign-in.
How do I turn off the timers?Settings → No timed levels. Timed levels convert to a move
budget instead. Forgiving lives is on by default, so losing a level costs
you nothing.
I am colour-blind. Can I still tell the gems apart?Yes. Turn on Colour-blind marks in Settings and every gem colour
carries a distinct shape as well as a hue. There is also Reduced
motion, a one-handed layout, larger touch targets and a
spoken board readout for screen readers.
A level looks impossible. Some are meant to be — sixteen levels are flagged
GAUNTLET in the level briefing, and are pitched above what skill
alone reaches, so bring a booster. For anything else, lose the level and the game will tell
you whether it was still winnable and which move you missed. If it says
the board was gone, it was.
Where are the Daily Nightmare, the Gauntlet and the Mastery Map?In Modes, once you have earned them. The Daily Nightmare —
one hard board a week — opens when you reach level 101. The
Gauntlet and the Mastery Map are about the second campaign, so they open
when you clear level 200; until then they show as locked.
How do I change my choice about personalised ads?If you are in the European Economic Area, the UK or Switzerland, the
game asks with Google's consent form before showing any ad. To change
your answer later, open Settings → Ad privacy. Elsewhere,
ad personalisation is controlled in Android Settings → Privacy
→ Ads. See the Privacy Policy.
Does the game work offline?Completely. The only thing that needs a connection is an ad. Everything
else — the campaign, the daily board, the weekly Nightmare, the
tower, the puzzles — runs with the device in airplane mode.
Is there any way to pay to remove the ads?Not at the moment. The game has no in-app purchases at all. Interstitial
ads are capped hard: never before level 4, and never within three minutes
of the last one.
How do I delete everything the game has stored?Settings → Reset progress inside the game, or uninstall it.
Both remove the profile completely. We hold no copy of it — see the
Privacy Policy.
Reporting a bug
Send us the following and we can usually reproduce it:
- Device model and Android version (Settings → About phone).
- Where it happened — the level number, or the mode and floor.
- What you expected, and what happened instead.
- A screenshot or a short screen recording, if you can catch it.
If a specific board misbehaved, the Share button on the result screen produces a code that carries the exact board and your moves. Paste that into the email and we can replay precisely what you saw.
Reporting an ad
We do not choose which ads Google serves. If one is inappropriate, misleading or will not close, send us a screenshot and the approximate time and we will report it to AdMob.
