Grid Clash

Privacy Policy

For Grid Clash (com.aidribblers.gridclash) on Google Play · Last updated

The short version. Grid Clash has no accounts, no login and no servers of our own. Your progress is stored on your device and we never receive it. The only third party involved is Google AdMob, which serves the ads in the game.

1. Who we are

Grid Clash is developed and published by AI Dribblers ("we", "us", "our"). This policy explains what the app does and does not do with information about you. It covers the Android app distributed on Google Play under the package name com.aidribblers.gridclash, and this website.

For anything in this policy, write to support@aidribblers.com.

2. What the game stores on your device

Your profile — levels completed, stars, best scores, coins, boosters, daily and weekly results, your streak, tower and gauntlet progress, mastery grades, the moves of your last failed attempt at a level from 101 on (which the game replays beside you as Clash Memory) and your settings — is written to a file inside the app's own private storage on your device. It never leaves the device, and we never receive it.

It is deleted when you uninstall the app. You can also erase it at any time from Settings → Reset progress inside the game.

The game does not use cookies. This website does not use cookies, analytics, tracking pixels or third-party scripts of any kind.

3. What we collect

Nothing. We operate no servers, no analytics and no crash reporting for this game, and the app sends no data to us. There is no account to create and nothing to sign in to. The game is fully playable with the device offline.

4. What our advertising partner collects

Grid Clash shows ads supplied by Google AdMob. Ads are how the free version is paid for. To serve and measure those ads, Google may collect and process:

This happens inside Google's SDK. We never see the underlying data ourselves; we see only aggregate earnings reports in the AdMob console. Google's handling of it is described in the Google Privacy Policy and in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.

Google acts as an independent controller of that data. A current list of Google's advertising partners is published at business.safety.google/adspartners.

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the game shows Google's consent form — Google's User Messaging Platform, a certified consent tool — before any ad is requested: the first time you open the game, and again whenever Google needs to ask. No ad is loaded until you have made a choice.

Whatever you choose, the game plays the same. If you do not consent, ads are still shown, but Google serves only non-personalised or limited ads.

To decide whether the form applies to you, Google's consent tool works out your region from your connection. Your choice is stored on your device by that tool, so you are not asked every time you play, and we never receive it. You can change it at any time from Settings → Ad privacy in the game.

5. Your choices and controls

6. Permissions the app requests

The game itself declares three:

PermissionWhy
INTERNETLoading ads. The game itself plays entirely offline.
ACCESS_NETWORK_STATEChecking whether a connection exists before requesting an ad.
VIBRATEHaptic feedback during play. Can be turned off in Settings.

The Google Mobile Ads SDK adds several more of its own, all of them for serving and measuring ads: AD_ID and com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID (the advertising ID), READ_BASIC_PHONE_STATE (network type), ACCESS_ADSERVICES_TOPICS, ACCESS_ADSERVICES_AD_ID and ACCESS_ADSERVICES_ATTRIBUTION (Android Privacy Sandbox), and WAKE_LOCK with FOREGROUND_SERVICE. None of them is used by the game itself.

The app requests no camera, microphone, contacts, storage, precise location or phone-call permissions.

7. Children

Grid Clash is rated for a general audience but is not directed at children under 13, and its Play target audience is set to 13 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

If you believe a child has provided personal information through the ads shown in this app, contact us at support@aidribblers.com and we will help you raise it with Google, which is the party that holds it.

8. Purchases

The app contains no in-app purchases. Coins, boosters and extra lives are earned by playing or by choosing to watch a rewarded ad. Nothing in the game can be bought with money, and the app never asks for payment details.

The wager and the tower stake let you risk coins you have already earned on your own performance. There is no chance element, no real money in or out, and no way to buy the currency — it is a scoring choice, not gambling.

9. Your rights (GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA/CPRA)

Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to give you a copy of, correct, or delete on request — and we have nothing to sell or share. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising on our own account.

Requests about the advertising data described in section 4 should go to Google, which is the controller for it: see policies.google.com/privacy. If you contact us first at support@aidribblers.com, we will point you to the right form and help where we can.

Where GDPR applies, the legal basis for the advertising described above is consent where consent is required, and otherwise our legitimate interest in funding a free game. In the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland, the game asks for your consent through Google's certified consent form before any ad is requested, and you can change your answer at any time — see Asking for your consent.

10. Retention and deletion

We retain nothing, because we receive nothing. Your game profile lives on your device for as long as the app is installed, and goes when it does. Retention of the advertising data in section 4 is governed by Google's data retention policy.

11. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version is posted at this address with a new date at the top. Material changes will also be noted in the app's release notes on Google Play.
